When will the Ball Be Held?
Thursday January 20, 2005 - The evening after the Inauguration of the President of the United States.

If I have already purchased my ticket what do I need to know?

* Event opens at 8:00 pm (food, beverage and entertainment begins at 9:00 pm).
* Will call / box office: If you were told that your ticket will be at "will call" or "box office" you can pick your tickets up in the lobby of the Wyndham Washington Hotel, starting at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 20.
* Metro will stay open untill 3:00 am to accomodate the event.

Does my ticket also get me into the Entertainment Ball?

Yes. The eNaugural.com Ball & The Entertainment Ball are both taking place at the Wyndham at the same time. A ticket to either ball grants full access to both balls.

Is this a political event?
No. This Hi Tech Inaugural Ball gives the area's technology leaders a chance to celebrate this years Presidential Inauguration among their peers in an electrifiying atmosphere in a non partisan environment.

What is the dress code?
There is no formal dress code, however, the event is positioned as "Black Tie Optional," so people generally dress to impress. Typically men will wear either a tuxedo or a suit, however, some may get a little "creative." Women typically wear either gowns or cocktail dresses -- but always looking fantastic.

What is SCAN?

SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now), the beneficiary of the event, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the well-being of children, improve parent-child relations and prevent child abuse and neglect. For more information about SCAN click here

Is there an age minimum for this event?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to enter. No one under 21 will be admitted so please do not buy tickets as there are no refunds.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
The event is for adults only, and features an all-inclusive package, so all attendees are required to bring an up-to-date photo ID.

What is the service like?
The Wyndham Washington is DC's premier gala venue. The award-winning staff takes great pride in ensuring that every guest has a fantastic experience. With 20% more bartenders per guest than the industry standard, you are assured not to spend your evening standing in line.

What is the layout of the event and seating arrangements?
This is a reception-style event encompassing the entire Wyndham Washington Complex. Therefore, seating in the main event areas is limited to maximize event space and comfortable crowd flow. However, there are more open seating areas available in the VIP area for the vast majority of the VIP's. No reserved seats are available. If seating is of concern, VIP is strongly recommended.

What is the difference between the Main Event Tickets & VIP Tickets?
The Main Event Ticket grants access to five party areas plus full open bars all night and much more.The VIP Ticket grants access to all Main Event party areas and amenities as well access to the VIP Party Zone which features upgraded food, beverage and entertainment in the exclusive VIP room. For those of you who prefer upgraded food and beverage, and additional seating, VIP is the way to go.
